2026 Youth Camp Information

LOCATION
Cross Pointe Camp Grounds, 31434 Main Street, Rocky Mount, Missouri 65072

DEPARTURE + ARRIVAL TIMES
- We will leave LifePoint Church at 11:30am on Wednesday, May 27th. Our check-in will begin at 10:45 where we will collect your students medicine, pack their luggage, and prepare to leave. Please make sure your student eats a good meal before dropping them off at the church. After check-in we will take a group picture, then pray as a group, then we will leave. We will leave camp around 11:00am and will be back to LifePoint around 12:00pm on Saturday, May 30th.

 HOW ARE MEDICATIONS HANDLED AT CAMP
- All medications—prescription or over-the-counter—must be checked in with the nurse at registration. THEY MUST BE IN THE ORIGINAL BOTTLE - NO WEEKLY MED PACKS There is a $5 nurse fee per camper/leader staying in dorms who brings medication.

HOW MUCH SPENDING MONEY WILL THE CAMPERS NEED?
- Campers may want to bring $25–$50 for extra spending money while at SMYM Youth Camp. This may be used for: snack shack, Camp Café, offering, merch, etc. Be sure to bring quarters if you plan to use the soda machine. We also encourage students to bring a water bottle for easy water station fill ups.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP + PACKING LIST
- Camp is a NO PHONE ZONE!! Please bring a Bible, Notebook, Pen Bedding for dorms (pillow, twin sheets, blanket or sleeping bag), 1 Towel for swimming, 1 Towel for showering, Toiletries/personal hygiene items (i.e. toothbrush, shampoo, etc.), 1 rec/play outfit per day & swimsuit (closed toed shoes for all rec games), 1 clean outfit for chapel/team building time every day, Light jacket or sweatshirt, Pool/Shower shoes, Comfortable non-rec shoes, Sunscreen Recommended Not Required Flashlight, bug spray, waterproof watch, sunglasses, water bottle. Money–you are welcome to bring cash for the snack shack, vending machines, and camp merch. If your student has medication please pack your students medication in 1 big bag in all the original bottles if possible. To help out the camp nurse please label what times medicines are taken, how frequently they are taken, and include any over the counter medicines your student may need in this bag as well.

DRESS CODE POLICY
- The camp dress code policy is modesty. Chest & stomach must be covered. Shorts, dresses, and skirts must have a 4-inch inseam or equivalent. Please no two-piece bikinis, spaghetti straps, belly shirts, or crop tops (you may wear modest tank tops). No clothing with inappropriate pictures or slogans. The camp director will be the final authority on the dress code.

CAMP THEME NIGHTS
- Night 1 is Senior Citizen night! Please dress like your favorite grandparent (wigs are recommended). Night 2 is neon night! You can bring glowsticks, but do not bring neon paint. Night 3 is jersey night! Wear your favorite sports jersey, and if you don't have one ask a friend if you can borrow one!

VISITOR POLICY
- Camp is a closed event. We do not allow visitors on the campgrounds unless a visitor form is submitted and a background check has been passed prior to arrival. See below the policy. All visits must be planned in advance. Visitor forms must be submitted by 3:00 PM the Sunday prior to the week of camp. Visitors 18+ must complete a background check.
